I am looking for electrial resistors to replace in a test panel I have. They are 1 and 2 ohm, but they are some kind of metal strips mounted on an asbestos board, as they despense a lot of heat. They are about 1/4 and 1/8 wide and approx 6 inches long. it is used to test transformer circuit breakers of 24 volts max. and 250 watts. Does anyone know of a replacement that I can use. if you look in the Mouser or Newark catalogs (websites ?), you should be able to find 1 & 2 ohm resistors in the 250 to 300 watt range
