Question by Mike: Can you get Lung Cancer from smoking pot for 3 months? I smoked pot for the first time about 4 years ago and only smoked it maybe once every other month until this past September where i have started smoking pot 1-3 times a week. I have just had this cough for about a week now and idk i think im just over reacting….im reading all this stuff about it and just making myself more scared i think.

nahhhh you can’t. then only thing that can happen when you smoke pot is you can lose some of your memory. but that’s only after you have smoked it for a long period of time, and by long i mean like 40 years or so.
there have been no cases where marijuana was the DIRECT cause for lung cancer. you most definately do not have lung cancer, unless it is from something else, but im sure your fine

But in short, there is a 99.9999999% chance that you do not have lung cancer. Smoking weed will build up tar in the lungs, and yes you will cough some.
