My mother did not have any coughing when she found out that she had 4th stage small cell lung cancer. The tumor was the size of a golf ball in her lung. It was located at the top part of the lung.
I will be calling my health insurance and telling them about mom, and asking them if they allow chest x-rays every year. She had an x-ray in 2005 just before she moved her in October. She had an x-ray in Feb. 09, and passed away June 09. Less than 4 years, she was taken from us from cancer.
My doctor said to me if I have any coughing to come in. But my mother never had any coughing. So I want the x-rays every year. Even tho I have never been a smoker, I grew up with her smoking, so it scares me.
