Funnily enough, there is no proof that smoking Cannabis causes lung cancer. On the contrary, in fact, any attempt to prove that it does cause lung cancer has completely backfired. Instead 2 possibilities have been found: Smoking Cannabis either has no cancerous effect on the lungs at all or alternatively it has a positive effect in that it reduces your chances of getting lung cancer.
THC, the psychoactive chemical in Cannabis, has been found to be anti-cancerous. It is so, in 2 ways:
1) It induces programmed cell death in cancerous cells. (It makes cancerous cells kill themselves). Whilst at the same time leaving healthy cells alone.
2) For cancerous tumours to grow, blood vessels must be formed around the tumour. THC has been shown to stop this process of blood vessel growth at tumour sites, so tumours can not grow anymore.
2) – this point stops the tumour from growing and spreading further.
1) – this point causes the tumour to retreat until it has been completely killed.
So there is no answer to your question, as medical marijuana users are less likely to get lung cancer than.. for example.. you.
You can’t get lung cancer from smoking weed. THC does not only not cause cancer but it is the cure for it. Don’t believe me then check out my links and see for yourself.
A lot of the time medical marijuana comes in pill form…so there isn’t really any smoking involved. There are shops in the states that it is legal in that have several different forms of marijuana that you can buy, and if you don’t want to smoke it you definitely have other options. Aside from that, there isn’t any proof that weed has detrimental effects. There was a study done, I believe in the 60′s or 70′s, where scientists determined that weed could kill you, but the test came under scrutiny when it was revealed that the monkies used in it were actually gas masked and had approx 15 joints worth of weed give to them through the gas masks, causing the monkies to suffocate and die. Not because of the weed, because of the oxygen they were deprived of. I suggest you watch one or more of the many documentaries available on weed. I’ve very much enjoyed the ones I’ve watched, they’re informative and fun.
Cannabis does not cause lung cancer. In fact in studies they have found that regular cannabis smokers have less instance of head, neck, and lung cancer than non-smokers. Cannabis inhibits the growth of cancer tumors. More people really need to do their research. BTW, cannabis does not have to be smoked. It can be vaporized, eaten, used topically, or in a tincture.

Pot does not cause lung cancer. And since you seem pretty uppity about the topic, let me ask you this…What do people do when their Dr. prescribes them Oxycontin and they get into a car accident? Or, what do people who use muscle relaxers do when they take a dose that relaxes their HEART and die? Wake up, man.
Well actually the medical marijuana is of high quality, so you arnt going to find added chemicals in it, and also there is no scientific proof that it causes lung cancer. In fact science shows us right now that it can prevent cancer growth. New creations such as vaporizers have been created and these new inventions are a proven safe way to get the thc from cannabis. With a vaporizer the thc that is ingested is virtually 100% tar free, and is not hard on the lungs at all. Thc pills are available as well, and you can use cannabutter for cooking purposes such as brownies. To answer your question I believe the medical patients should be worry free from the use of their medicinal marijuana. Its good there is medical marijuana out there instead of addicting harmful pills or other prescriptions with some nasty side effects. Unless they smoke death sticks of course that’s a guarantee to cancer.
They aren’t. At least if they don’t smoke cigarettes. Marijuana helps get rid of lung cancer rather than cause it. It is not harmful. Especially if it is vaporized or eaten.

thast why they invented vaporizers! weed actually doesnt give you lung cancer, its the process of “smoking” it just like with anything else such as cigarettes!
You can buy a $ 10 vaporizer online. there is no reason to smoke anything any more. stop treating this like a drug and start treating it like a medicine.
There are ton’s of people advertising for rooms to rent and housing at 420roomsearch.com you can see that a lot of people consume but do not smoke it.
