The city says that in order to put a vent system in my restaurant i have to make the restrooms bigger, yet if i want to make the restrooms bigger i have to get an asbestos test…which is like $ 5000 to clean up if there is, and $ 700 just to test it. I went around video taping a place in town and their building is historical , yet they have no asbestos test… and my building isnt even old, the owners put the sheet rock up 1 year ago…how could they get away with not taking an asbestos test and their building is older than mine???
I just need to know if i am being treated fairly by the city.
There are places in town which have an arms length to fit in.
So do i need to make my restrooms bigger in order to put a vent system in?
The ones who’s historical didnt get an asbestos test and they are deguting the whole inside….yet i can even put a vent system in because the city says that i have to get an asbestos test and my walls are brand new…whats with that???
