I would go to the website for Cancer treatment centers for America. Also try searching for them on webmd.com.
Obviously no treatment will lead to death. Traditional treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery), do help with certain types of cancers, but cancers like stage 4 skin cancer and kidney cancer are very resistant to chemo and radiation. Leukemia is also very resistant to traditional therapy when it’s in it’s later stages.
I don’t have a lot of information on alternative treatments other than oxygen therapy for leukemia. When you can’t have chemo because your blood levels are too low, sometimes oxygen therapy can bring our levels up and allow time for chemotherapy treatments.

Well sadly its just like smoking you want everyone to stop cuz it will kill them and cell phones can do about the same because if you are on the phone to long you are sending radio waves or whatever into your brain and it can make you mentally retarded (i am NOT trying to be rude) smoking will kill you and so can over use on your cell phone but people aren’t able to realize it till it happens its pretty sad i wish we could raise awarness about it so it don happen but i think everyone would be like whatever thats a lie theyre just starving for attention its really sad.

I am very sorry about your grandfather. I know you miss him and I think it is wonderful that you would want to preserve his heritage.
First of all get as much information as possible from family members. Talk to the senior family members and tape them if they will let you. They might be confused on some things but what might seem to be little story tellings just possibly will turn out to be very important.
Go to your public library and find out what they have in the genealogy section. They might have a subscription to Ancestry.Com which has lots of records. They have all the censuses through 1930. The 1940 is not available to the public yet.
Now, be very careful about taking as fact information you see in family trees in any website(free or paid). They are submitted by folks like you and me. A lot of the information is not documented. You frequently will see different information on the same person. Then all too often you will see repeatedly the same information on the same person without documentation. That means a lot of people are copying without verifying. There are errors in family trees on the internet.
Use the information as clues as to where to get your documentation. Ancestry.Com and Rootsweb allows you to probe a name and get the name and email address of the submitter.
Call your nearest Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Church and find out if they have a Family History Center. They have records on people all over the world, not just Mormons. In Salt Lake City they have the world’s larges genealogical collection.
Their Family History Centers can order microfilm for you to view for a nominal fee.
They don’t bring up their religion and they won’t send their missionaries by to ring your doorbell.
Cyndi’s list has a lot of websites that deal with family history and records.
While at the library and Family History Center, you will probably have a great opportunity to talk with people who can give you some great tips and advice.

He had his kidney removed 8 years ago, he had RCC stage 2. He had follow ups that were all clean. Last year he had his prostate removed too. And a month ago, we found the recurency in his column and in his lungs. He is 69 years old.
I am his son, and had my kydney removed last year with a RCC stage 1, I´ve had 2 ct scan since, and all are clean.

This is the time to make a tough choice.
He can spend time seeking treatment, which has side effects and be miserable . It’s obvious that the cancer keeps spreading despite all the treatments he’s already had.

He can live out the rest of his life with family, loved ones, and friends in peace, doing whatever things he is capable of that he enjoys. He can reminisce, share stories about his parents and grandparents that can be passed down to the next generation.
My Dad died of bone cancer, which is the most painful of all cancers. He elected to stay at home without TX enjoying his Met games, his western books and his family.
I was the only one he was able to talk about death with; the other family could not handle the topic.
Bless you & your Dad whatever decision he makes. You need to respect his decision even if you disagree…It is HIS life.

What is the best way to get rid of them ?
1) Put 1/4” new sub floor, then put real hardwood on it ? (Would the hardwood hold nicely to the 3 or 4 layers ? (sub-floor then maybe hardwood then the tiles then the new sub-floor)
2) put the hardwood with a paper barrier (or whatever they use) right on the tiles

If the floor tiles are anything less than 12″ X 12″ then there is a 90% chance they are asbestos. The rule is “NOT” to disrupt them . Some have and some have not.. I put carpet right over the top of them.

Hi my mum was diagnosed with kidney cancer in Dec 2007 and had her right kidney removed Jan 08, it was a stage 3 tumor and though they said it was very advanced they did not remove the lymph-nodes as they thought they were ok.
In Nov 08 her ct scan was clear and in March 09 they scan showed a spot on her liver which was 1.5cm, she had a MRI and they referred her back to the oncologist who told us the cancer had spread.
At present she is awaiting to see the surgeon in L’pool regarding having the left half of her liver removed, which we have been told is major op.
My mum is not sure if she wants the op, for a few reasons 1 because she feels removing half the liver will not cure the cancer and as they feel its probably spread through the blood or lymph-nodes and she feels it will only be matter of time before it reappears. 2 because she has been told its a minimum of a 3 month recovery.
Is it true that the cancer is likely to reappear even if the current spot is removed?
And does anyone know about radiofrequeny treatment as she is very keen to try that as compared to major sugery it only takes about a wks recovery.
Which has the best results, and if she had surery how long would the cancer stay away? Are we talking it could stay away years amd years, as the oncologest said kidney cancer is an aggesive cancer.

I’m sorry to hear about your mum’s cancer.
If the oncologist has told you that it has likely spread beyond the liver then it is probable that it will come back later. Radiation therapy only works when you know where the cancer is. It may get rid of the cancer in the liver, as surgery will, but it won’t prevent another spreading.
If your mother’s fears are well founded about further metastasis then I can see her reasoning for wanting the least invasive procedure possible.

I was asking the same question not too long ago, from the replies that i got of yahoo answers, one of the recommended machines was the cavitat resonator {rife machine} which I have been unable to locate/purchase one. I think that they are no longer on the market.

The PERL by Resonant Light Technology is also good, there is some good testimonies on that. I would suggest however, that you like me, are still trying to find information out about this elusive technology, to go to the Rife Conference in Germany, its all stated on the Rifeforum.com, you will meet people there with more experience with different machines ect.
My naturopathic doctor swears by the Pearl, but he has stopped treating cancer patients since he was making claims of a ‘cure’ and that got him into trouble with the authorities.
Oncotherm is a good machine, although you will not be able to afford thi as the price tag is high, it is used by hospitals and clinics in Europe, you can find your local clinic that has the machine, and attend some Rife Sessions. My skin is super oily, I’m a stress case and I don’t eat as healthy as I should. (my skin does dry out a little bit in winter)
I drink gallons of water every day.
I have old acne scars & current adult acne. My acne is not as bad as some–but enough to bother me. The scars are pretty bad.
My skin tone is very uneven. To add to it all, my birth control pills caused a tan line on my upper lip.
I wear make-up about 3 times a year and wash about 2x daily with either cetephil or phyosderm. I’ve been applying Clean & Clear spot treatment all over.
In the summer, I sweat gallons at my job–though I do wipe down my face with plain cold water now & then throughout the day. Don’t sweat so much in the winter!
With my skin type, what is the best you have tried to help fade acne scars?
What is the best product to keep current acne under control?
TYPE OF ACNE–white heads on chin, at corners of mouth. Regular breakouts of normal zits with occasional monster size zits that take about 3 wks or more to go away. These Godzilla zits are fairly new with me–they don’t develop a head or ozze anything–they just sit there, big, red, and sore feeling.
I cannot afford to go to a dermatologist although if an expensive product is recommened, I might be able to get that at Christmas time.
I’m open to home remedies, however I doubt my diet will change much. I do indulge in fruit often and take Calcium, D, B complex & C
(I stopped taking vitamin E because I heard it could speed up lung cancer in smokers–yep I’m a smoker too. No good for the skin; been trying to quit for the past month)
I’m not looking for “I have heard” or “look into this”
What have you tried yourself that works–or what has a friend tried that you have seen works?
I cannot afford to waste time & money on experimenting
I really would appreciate any feedback about products/home remedies that are tried & true
have I steamed my face? I work at a dry cleaners so I get daily facial steams! ha ha

My grandfather has been having problems of incontinence because he has had a stim for his back pain emplanted. He then went to the urologist to check out this problem. The urologist inserted a camera
up his urinary tract to check for cancer or liasons. Everthing appears well. About 48 hrs later he became very weak and was rushed to one the hospital. My grandfather had contracted 2 sevre bacteria in his urinary tract, ecoli and other bacteria. They treated him quickly, and when he was about to be released they noticed he was short of breath and discovered he had a polmunary emblism. They treated him with a blood thinner called coumadin to deal with the problem. Soon after a hematoma on his kidney developed. My grandfather has had a leaky heart valve for many years now, is it true that coumadin increases the chance for abdominal bleeding in patients with leaky hearts? Anyway now my grandfather is recieving blood transfusions because of the hematoma, and now his lungs are filling with liquid. Does anyone know a great southern California hospital or any hospial that is wel known for helping someone in his situation? And can someone answer my question about coumadin? Thanks very much!!
