I work at a Chinese restaurant 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, as a cook, and I cook behind the wok most of the time, and I see my surrounding stuff, such as the counter, food container, my cup, etc, would get greasy after a while(maybe couple days), there are a lot of oil involved in the cooking, so I thought it probably gets heated and then evaporated into the surrounding, so I figure I must have breathed in a lot of grease, into my lung, and I’m worried if I could get lung cancer or other bad stuff, or will my body get rid of the grease by itself, hence it is not harmful at all? Because I heard people that works at coal mine will breathe in a lot of tar, and they are very likely to get cancer, what about me?

the issue with this is that on an ingredients list it does not have to specify where each and every ingredient came from. Take clothing labels “Made in USA, of imported fabric” where did the fabric coem from it obviously was imported but where from who do we ask? Does anyone list the source of their sodium lauryl sulfate? (a foaming additive in toothpaste, shampoos (people and pets) it is a coconut deritive hmm where is it warm and who processes things cheaply?

We really don’t know what else to do, my sister is only 15 and she is very scared. Chinese drywall is the most significant issue to affect the real estate industry since asbestos. About a month ago, I began fielding calls from several regional lenders concerned about their exposure to Chinese drywall. These lenders, pinched by the broader market conditions – foreclosures and depressed real estate values – worry that Chinese drywall will be a hurdle as they try to clear their books of foreclosed homes.
The vast majority of the banks with whom I spoke are already experiencing Chinese drywall losses. Some described attempting to “unload” homes with Chinese sheetrock in order to clear their books. Others are seeing offers submitted well below asking price. The potential buyers are justifying their offer by the fact that the home may contain Chinese drywall.
The first group, the banks who have unloaded these properties, are now concerned about their liability. Knowing that these homes were affected by Chinese drywall, or suspecting it at the very least, these banks are now concerned that they may be sued in the future.
The second group – banks who are collecting offers on their homes that are far below market value – are worried that the stigma, fear, and uncertainty surrounding Chinese sheetrock will inhibit their ability to sell the homes that they have foreclosed on.
Of course, some banks are concerned about both their liability and the effect that the toxic drywall stigma has on offer prices.
All three groups have been excited to learn that there is a Chinese drywall testing protocol that is guaranteed and insurable. The insurance that can be obtained with a negative test for toxic drywall relinquishes the bank from liability and gives potential buyers the confidence to consider the home without the uncertainty and fear relating to Chinese drywall problems.
Although none of the banks with whom I have worked have decided to go as far as to have all of their homes tested, several are paying for the testing or reimbursing potential buyers for the testing. In order for this to happen, however, buyers must request that the home be tested as part of the offer. A typical home inspection does not fully address Chinese drywall problems and the offer should contain language and clauses that specifically request an insurable Chinese sheetrock testing protocol.
The preferred method for reimbursement – preferred by both buyers and sellers (banks) – is to pay for the inspection costs at closing. These fees are essentially added to the closing costs portion of closing. Then, a seller can reimburse a buyer through seller’s closing costs contributions. This way, neither party must pay out of pocket. Some buyers have also been successful in asking their lender to fund the insurance policy that is obtainable with a negative test result. Similar to title insurance, the insurance premium can also be accounted for as closing costs.
These tests can typically be turned around within 10 days to meet the contingency requirements of most lenders. As soon as a ratified contract is obtained, the buyers should notify the company they have chosen to inspect the home for Chinese drywall so that adequate time is given to sample the home and analyze the samples.

In the United States, cancer kills more and more Americans annually. It has become one of the most common causes of death in the United States. Since 1976, 975,000 people were already diagnosed of cancer. It causes agony and eventually death to cancer patients.
Cancer is so tragic that it occurs in different parts of the body, such as the bladder, bones, uterus, colon, esophagus, lungs, breast, liver and others. According to the American Cancer Society, people should always report any of these cancer symptoms:
* Change in bowel or bladder habits* A sore that does not heal* Unusual bleeding or discharges* Thickening of the breast or other areas* Difficulty in swallowing* Obvious change in wart or mole* Nagging cough or hoarseness
Cancer can be treated in many ways such as surgery, irradiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. However, these treatments are quite expensive and come with risks. In some cases, cancer patients also are fearful of these types of treatments. Let’s take surgery as an example. Some hesitate to consult with their physicians. Worse, some even stop going back to their physicians. They fear that surgery might not remove the cancer cells but mutilate them instead.
In contrast to Western treatments, China still resorts to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is based on the yin and yang principles and of a person’s co-existence with his/her environment. Traditional Chinese Medicine basically makes use of Chinese herbal remedies and acupuncture. These remedies have been used as anti-inflammatory treatments for many centuries already.
Celastrol, a popular Chinese herb, has been used to treat fever, chills, joint pain and inflammation for many centuries. Celastrol is extracted from the tree or shrubs of celastracaea, or otherwise known as the “Thunder of God Vine” or Lei Gong Teng in Chinese.
In order to find the other benefits of this plant derivative, various research studies have already been conducted. Among those who researched on celastrol are Dr. Ahmed Chadli and his colleagues of the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) Cardiovascular Discovery Institute and of the American Heart Association.
Dr. Chadli’s research found that celastrol can help in treating cancer. The researchers believed that celastrol inactivates a protein that prompts cancer to numerously grow in the body. Heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) causes cancer cells to multiply more and more. Another protein, P23, aids HSP90 in its growth. The study proved that celastrol can actually inhibit HSP90 from doing such.
With this, Dr. Chadli hopes that celastrol can be combined with other therapeutic agents in reducing cancerous diseases.
TCM may not be modernized and sophisticated. Despite of this, their system of healing has proven a lot. With more research studies on Chinese herbs, surely, cancer and all other death-causing diseases will hope to be alleviated in no time.
