funeral, church or room where there is no air flow..I have to leave out because I start coughing ..I use my inhaler, but it does not work. Does anyone out there know what this happens? Thank you..

Not surprising because there is less oxygen wherever there are more people gathered, combine that with the lack of air flow and it becomes pure torture for a COPD or asthma patient. You need to find out if you can obtain a small portable oxygen tank. Please talk to your doctor about this it may be covered by insurance. Also, please try not to overuse your inhaler whatever you do because it can cause a paradoxical effect, that brings more harm than good. I hope this helps in some way!

During Charles Darwin’s voyage to the Galapagos Islands, he discovered that the finches on all of these islands were very similar but they exhibited minor changes, caused of course by evolution. Each of these islands can be thought of as a closed ecosystem because even though the finches on the islands are similar they are genetically different and are in a self contained ecosystem. Finches on each island don’t breed with genetically different finches of other islands. Hope this helps.

Portsmouth hasn’t closed the book on library repairs
by Patrick Terpstra PORTSMOUTH — The discovery of asbestos and more damage to a mezzanine than originally thought will delay reopening the city’s main library damaged in an arson fire, WVEC.com has learned. The city initally hoped to reopen the library in January, weeks after the Christmas Day 2010 fire, but pushed the goal to April 1 after discovering extensive smoke damage. But the building has sat largely untouched the past few months while city leaders secured insurance money to begin repairs. City spokeswoman Dana Woodson said the library will be open July 1 at the earliest. “The city seems to be dragging its feet,” Portsmouth library board chairwoman Dorothy Hill said. Asbestos removal has begun but must finish before crews can remove and replace the floor of the mezzanine, Woodson said. For now, Portsmouth’s largest collection of public computers, children’s books and historical items remains sealed off until further notice. The fire in the book drop in the rear foyer of the building at 601 High Street was intentionally set. The suspect, Tyrone Donte Taylor, is due in court on April 1, according to online court records.

Every law office I’ve ever worked at stores their closed files as old fashioned paper files. It takes a lot of space to do so, but that’s the way they do it.

I’ve been on that yard for 4months. Environmenatl health came today and said we all have to be off this week and their closing it down. Everyone is devestated and scared, it’s very hard to get stables here in england. And now the panic is really on, I’ve been looking for stables for the whole 4months!! and not found one! so now we’re stranded.
But the main thing is. ASBESTOS, how dangerous is it? and what will the effects be of breathing it in for 4months?
And what will it do to our horses?

dont worry we have to be out this week anyway, this is tragic though. one lady has 7 horses, including a mare and foal! i dont know where she will take them!

I’m not sure about horses, but in humans, inhaling one single asbestos fiber can cause a condition called asbestosis which I belive is fatal 100% of the time.
Please get yourself and your horses out of there.
