lol you do some real research! no you! i’m just here for open minded opinions you didn’t even state why they want it legalized. what is false hope? how do you know till you’ve tried it? has anyone had experience out there? probably not because the likelyhood of someone coming in contact with this oil is not very good. if you were to have to buy a lb from a drug dealer(what choice have you?) to make an ounce(a month supply) it would cost about 4,500$ . there is no government research on this specific treatment. go ahead, spend your money on chemical drugs that have been around for ten years, but maybe, just maybe there is a possibility that one which has been around ten thousand years works better. They don’t make their big money off this one so why legalize it? why even do a study on it when some of the ones they have done are proving them wrong. money is power. are you going to believe everything society tells you? use your brain, love each other, and do your own research

I finally gave in and watched it. It tell me nothing other than these people want mj legalized and are spreading hope that has not been scientifically proven. Again, there is REAL research out there nd you tube is not a reliable source for anything. There is also a synthetic thc that is identical to the thc in real marijuana that has a LOT of studies. Some of them might surprise you. Do some real research or get off this board.

Q&A: heart disease? diabetes?
Question by sour_raindrops: heart disease? diabetes?
I weigh 66 kilos, I am 5 foot tall, and 12.
My friends say I look healthy, and slim, and I dont look obese.
Recently, I have been having shortness of breath, and slight dizziness at random moments then it goes away, and abit of chest pain, it said it may lead to lung, or heart disease.
Although you need to have a high blood pressure in having that.
the doc said my blood pressure is average for my age.
And also ever since I was small, my armpits look darker than my average skin tone, and my neck, inner thighs.
It said there might be too much insulin contained in me, or I just need to use a type of lotion, to remove it, but I dont know where to buy it? or what brand?
And when I was younger, I wasn’t chubby at all.
HELP!
if you have the answers, or if you are/were having the same problems as me, if your near my age.
thankyou!

September 2007 Every year, 35 million tonnes of electronic waste is exported to China to be scrapped. There the rubbish is broken down by hand, poisoning workers and polluting the environment. “Smoke from the computers is too strong to breathe”, complains one disposal worker. “I feel dizzy and can’t see any more”. Many employees at the electronic disposal plant suffer from respiratory illness or skin diseases. They work for ten hours a day, with no protection from the hazardous chemicals.
Q&A: How will guarana affect me when taken with high blood pressure pills and medication for a lung disease?
Question by limbobimbo: How will guarana affect me when taken with high blood pressure pills and medication for a lung disease?
Best answer:
Answer by ej
Only your pharmacist would be qualified to answer this one. I’d bet that it’s a bad idea. If you have high blood pressure, then taking a stimulant won’t be helping out that problem. It may even interact with the blood pressure or lung disease meds you’re taking. Why would you want to take this anyway?

Why would lung disease be more common in a large urban area than in a remote rural area?
Question by Amber: Why would lung disease be more common in a large urban area than in a remote rural area?
Thank you for your time.
Best answer:
Answer by Charlie M.
There is most likely a great deal more exposure to carcinogens in an urban area. For example, large factories, especially in the past, probably spewed out smoke containing cancer-causing materials. The air tends to be much cleaner in smaller, remote places.

Should I contact mystery-diagnosis about my rare disease?
Question by Weezy: Should I contact mystery-diagnosis about my rare disease?
I have a rare disease called coccidiomycosis. It’s a fungal infection that spores in the soil of southwestern US and central America. The reason I would like to educate people about it is because it is very sneaky, often misdiagnosed as lung cancer or TB in early stages, but equally as fatal in most cases. Good idea???
Best answer:
Answer by Mags
Go for it. I went through the list of conditions covered in previous episodes of Mystery Diagnosis and do not see it listed:
http://health.discovery.com/fansites/mystery-diagnosis/diseases-08.html
It is discussed at the Discovery Health web site:
http://healthguide.howstuffworks.com/coccidioidomycosis-chronic-pulmonary-dictionary.htm
Do you have a story to tell? Did you, a family member or a friend or even someones dog contract Coccidiomycosis? That would make the concept a reality. They are not looking for ideas to discuss, they have those, they want a medical history. Perhaps someone you knew who visited the area but returned home where it is not common. Something that is TRUE and will make an interesting episode.

Restrictive lung disease and diaphragm position?
Question by Kimridesaharley: Restrictive lung disease and diaphragm position?
Can anyone tell me about restrictive lung disease when the xray shows the diaphragm pushing on the lung. My 70 year old dad was just told he has this. He gets around well, is active and otherwise healthy. What might be the cause of this, can it be treated and what is the prognosis? Thank you for any information pending an upcoming appointment with a specialist.
Best answer:
Answer by Ivan L
‘Restrictive lung disease’ is a general term used to describe lung diseases that result in reduced lung volumes (when compared to an average person of the same age). There are a wide range of diseases that can result in restriction of the lung. Typically, a chest X-ray will demonstrate small lung volumes, one of the features of which would be that the diaphragms would be in a higher position than in a normal person, due to the smaller lungs.
Generally, the change of diaphragm position is not because the diaphragm is ‘pushing on the lung’ as such, but rather that the disease process causing shrinked lung volumes naturally results in the diaphragms ending up in a higher position.
Examples of ‘restrictive lung disease’ include interstitial lung disease (once again, lots of causes), auto-immune disease, phrenic nerve palsy, pleural disease, and muscle/chest wall problems. You can see that in some of these cases, the lung is not in fact the source of the problem.

It is possible your rat is pregnant. But if you adopted her and she wasn’t pregnant, she could not have babies unless you have a male rat also. She might of been becoming pregnant when you bought her or she might be sick. Call your vet for help.
Good luck with your rat!

Q&A: Do you think many cancer deaths attributed to the disease may actually be caused by effects from chemo?
Question by SkepCrock: Do you think many cancer deaths attributed to the disease may actually be caused by effects from chemo?
Some cancer researchers have noted that , left untreated, the disease will not progress further, while some doctors have expressed reservations about chemo treatments.
Mark, you are lumping independent research into cancer with what can be termed conspiracy theories ? Seems like you are trying to poison the well here, using some topsy turvy analogy. Nice try.
Panda – such negativity, a real “take the chemo or else ” mindset. Pretty much a protection racket approach.

Asbestos Exposure and Disease in Iron Manufacture 1979 Working For Your Life LOHP
Wire insulated with felted asbestos was used in high-temperature and rugged applications from the 1920s. Wire of this type, made with chrysotile asbestos, was sold by General Electric under the trade name “Deltabeston.” In 1942, a General Electric manager described controlling asbestos published by the Pennsylvania Occupational Disease Prevention Bulletin No. 93: Exhausting asbestos fiber and dust in wire insulation manufacture (available at www.egilman.com . This 1942 document says “The use of asbestos fiber in the manufacture of insulated wire usually introduces a dust control problem … includes a complete program of control not only the essential exhausting and collecting equipment for controlling the asbestos fly and dust at its source [and] a routine inspection and maintenance of all systems, a periodic check of air conditions, thorough physical exam of all new employees and re-examination periodically for all employees.” Unfortunately these precaution appear to have not been applied at this appliance manufacturing plant, even decades later. Tolearn how you can help prevent asbestos-related disease, link to and join the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO), an independent organization founded in 2004. ADAO seeks to give asbestos victims and concerned citizens a united voice to raise public awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure.
