THE TOWN WANTS TO PUT UP A 150 FT. CELL TOWER 20 FT. FROM MY KIDS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. THE COMPANY CLAIMS THAT NO HARMFUL HEALTH AFFECTS CAN COME OF THIS???? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? THERE ARE CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS 3 AT THIS SCHOOL…. DO YOU KNOW OF ANY REPUTABLE WEBSITES THAT I CAN COLLECT DATA FROM ABOUT HEALTH RISKS TO CHILDREN FROM COMMUNICATION AND CELL TOWERS. THE COMPANY KEEPS TELLING THE TOWN THAT THERE ARE NO SCIENTIFIC STUDIES THAT PROVE THAT CELL TOWERS POSE ANY HEALTH RISKS!!! BUT I SAY, THERE ARE NO STUDIES THAT PROVE THAT THEY DON’T!!!!!!! Why the H— are you YELLING at us! Very hard to read.
The cell tower transmission is not 20 feet from your kids – it is 150+ feet. And cell towers are very low power to keep their signals within the limits of the cells.
The cell phone you gave your kids or that you carry probably has more radiation power because it is so close to your/their body – but I don’t believe it is a real risk either.
Smoking was never safe.

An Illinois elementary school had to evacuate students from four classrooms after asbestos was found by a foreman who was replacing white boards in seven classrooms. Tests confirmed that asbestos was most likely present in glue used to adhere the boards to the wall.
Students were immediately removed from the area, and work began to contain the asbestos. Air quality tests were performed in the affected areas and came back clean. Officials stated that asbestos particles were likely never released in the classroom and that asbestos exposure was not a concern. Work will be completed in the next few days. In the meantime, classes are being held in other areas of the school, including the library.

Elementary School: The level of school where picking on the fat kids, and kids with glasses is the cool thing to do.
Middle School:
1. A place where your parents drop you off to be ripped apart by your equals.
2. Where you go from being a sweet, cute, elementry school kid to being a poser goth cutter listening to Avril Lavinge.
3. Where your hopes and dreams are shattered just in time for the next pit of hell: highschool.
High School: High school is a failed experiment in preparing young people for the adult world. All high schools in the country were built around 1960 and were designed to hold about half as many students as they currently do. Nothing seems to work quite right in a high school building. The heaters only work during the summer and the air conditioning only works in the winter. The asbestos insulation has all fagged out and the building becomes an oven or a meat locker, depending on the time of year. The plumbing is usually a disaster in high school, with drinking fountains never working but toilets that never stop running.
High schools are usually poorly run by a team of out of touch assholes, also known as Principals, counselor, teachers, and ex-Marine drill sergeants (gym teachers). These people seem hell bent on destroying all hope for students through tedious testing, poorly planned projects, educational videos made during the Truman Administration, and text books that mention the Soviet Union on every page.
High school is also the place where the stress of growing up and the stress of fitting in join forces to destroy even the strongest among us. Most of High school is not spent learning but involves trying to find friends who aren’t complete douche bags, trying hook up with people of the opposite sex unsuccessfully, combing your hair, buying cloths in the effort that someone will notice you, working out so you will not get your ass kicked everyday, trying desperately to get rid of the zits that have taken over your face, driving a car that a homeless person wouldn’t piss in or riding on an over crowed bus while choking on diesel fumes, while people you don’t know make fun of you worse then your friends do, and on top of all of that, you must act like nothing is wrong in your life.
