Does the findings of Dr can be mistakenly or can be change?
Question by : Does the findings of Dr can be mistakenly or can be change?
My father has a cancerous tumor kidney that found out this September. Due to many circumstances he wasn’t schedule for procedure. Last Nov 16 supposed to be his schedule but the pulmonary Dr hold it due to his lungs findings. And Dr said that is the sign of the stage 4 cancer. All of us are shocked that he is in the stage 4. He suggest they will treat his lungs first and procedure will be followed. Actually, he has 2 tumors kidney and pancreas. So after removing kidney tumor after a month/s pancreas will be next and chemo. I am wondering might he is not yet in Stage 4 cancer that’s why they are still eager to do their best.

Q&A: input on CT findings in lungs?
Question by pj: input on CT findings in lungs?
I have several CT’s over the past couple years and need feedback, There again seen some enlarged lymph nodes in the mediastinum. There are again noted some prominenet lymph nodes in the left hilar region. Soft tissue nodule remains in the left lower lobe(histoplasmosis, biopsy proven) only slightly smaller at 8mm. No endobronchial lesions, no significant pleural space thickening. no rib abnormalities seen on the right. There is eliptical enlargementof the anterior aspect of the left adrenal gland measuring 1.3cm.
Opinion..
medial and left hilar lymphadenopathy- stable consistent with benign process over this time.
Left lower lobe soft tissue pulmonary nodule, indeterminate, but diminished in size consistent with biopsy-proven benign etiology
left adrenal adenoma-stable
I am continually getting lung infections now dyspnea, skin infections biopsied unknown etiology infection. headaches, nausea, lymph swelling. CBC is normal but I am on so mush antibiotics that i think its false. Kidney and/or flank pain. Cultures show many bacteria which is found in body but wasn’t a sterile specimen and again always on antibiotics.
I appreciate your feedback. Tired of being sick. This CT was done last in 7/08

at the risk of sounding rude its ludicrous to think you are going to get competent advice on such a complicated case in this forum. All I can tell you is if your doctor hasnt explained your condition and the significance of your x-ray findings to your satisfaction you should either tell your doctor you dont understand and ask enough questions until you do, or seek another physicians opinion.

There’s all sorts of fantastic cancer treatments out there—and remember most of alll–if you dont like what the doctor says, then GO GET A 2nd OR third opinion!!
Go Mom! Kick Cancer’s dirty lowdown A%$ !!!
My mom is in her 3rd round fight with colon cancer. We didnt like the “well we’ll do this and that again”, so we got online and found out our alternatives. Not only did it make us (and her) feel better by being proactive, we also got a different course of treatment and she is responding to it.

Aspirate smears show crowded clumps and a few acinar formation of cells with enlargd, pleomorphic nuclei on a background of red cells. Hepatocytes, ductal cells and mesothelial cells seen
Best answer:
Answer by Flapore N
“Aspirate smears” :
When a fine-needle biopsy is done, the cells obtained are smeared onto glass-slides for microscopy.
“crowded clumps and a few acinar formation of cells with enlarged, pleomorphic nuclei”:
This is the description of the adenocarcinoma (cancer cells).
“..on a background of red cells. Hepatocytes, ductal cells and mesothelial cells seen”:
This tells you what else besides the cancer cells that are in the smears. The red cells are red blood cells. Hepatocytes and ductal cells are normal cells of the liver, and basically tells you that the fine needle in fact did enter the liver. Mesothelial cells are cells lining the abdominal cavity. They stem from the puncture itself.
Hope the above clarify things a bit for you.

Publishing legal notice of asbestos findings cancel a realtor’s future plausible deniability for disclosure?
Question by Wayne H: Publishing legal notice of asbestos findings cancel a realtor’s future plausible deniability for disclosure?
If one home in a particular housing tract has asbestos in the ceiling, it is safe to assume homes, constructed in the same time frame; of similar construction have similar construction methods and materials. Homes were constructed under rigid specifications & control of Builder/Developer.
General understanding is that homes built pre 1970 have it, early 1970s probability very high have it, mid 1970s possibly have it and 1980 and after, it was outlawed.
Many environmental risk assessments rely on exposure levels in parts per million or billion.
State is CA
If a legal notice is published stating that one home in the tract has asbestos, is this sufficient legal grounds to force all realtors selling homes in the tract to declare the prospect of asbestos on future selling documents?
What if notice is sent to local realty board?
What if notice is sent to each local realty broker who operates a sales office?
Best answer:
Answer by NWA Ray
This is just my opinion…
When in doubt, DISCLOSE. However, I don’t think a Realtor can be found at fault for not disclosing that a home down the street or even next door contained Asbestos. I also don’t think that you can force the realtors to disclose this fact. Also, you can’t be sure that the other homes weren’t already improved upon. Someone may have found this earlier & cleaned them out before you found this one. Same deal with Lead Paint. Many of those cases have already been fixed so just because my house has lead paint, doesn’t mean all of my neighbors do too.
Let everyone know about this home & the possibility of similar situations so that the Realtors will be sure to have the properties inspected ASAP! It is as much the property owners obligation to disclose this type of info as it is the Realtor. Most states have a “Seller’s Disclosure” in which the sellers tell everything that is or maybe wrong with the property. This also protects the Realtor from not disclosing things.
If the Realtor says, “There has never been a problem with ___ in this home (or area)” KNOWING that there has been, THAT is a different story entirely! That Realtor maybe liable.
