it’s just i have heard so many things about how cancer rates are rising rather than lowering. and the treatment industry takes billions of pounds/dollara per year. I AM NOT APPEALING OR REFERRING TO ANIMAL RIGHTS CAMPAIGNS. i simply want to ask if anyone has any opinions on whether our current methods and practices of cancer treatment are misguided, and perhaps only continue due to all the money and vested ineterests poured into current practices. perhaps it iwould be impossible by now to admit we are doing things wrong…has anyone heard any stories or has any real opinions on this? i do not agree with animal experimentation, but that is a whole other issue and this cancer thing is unrelated. i am talking about regardless of animals, is our approach at best wrong and at worst fraudulent???

Do you think the people who have been cured of their cancer would say that our current methods are wrong? That’s why we have treatments and not cures. It doesn’t work for everyone. A lot of money is being invested to find a cure. Just because we don’t have one yet doesn’t mean progress is not being made. Research breeds technology. I’m sure there is a lot of new research being done that we don’t know about. You don’t hear about research until testing and retesting can prove that it’s worth going public with.

To start off I am 20 years old! I don’t know if how old I am is going to help with the question but to be sure I wanted to put that out there:)
Okay, starting from the beginning I have a boyfriend and we have been together since I was 16 years old. I think I moved in with him and his family in 2007? I got pregnant in October of 2008…
Well, his mother had ahhccs insurance, you know like mercy care, DES basically. She took me when I first moved in to the DES office to get my finger prints printed and she added me onto her case because she has 9 kids and has it already, and since I was living with her I didn’t think it was a big deal. When she found out I was pregnant I still lived at my boyfriends house and he worked 7 days a week 12 hours a day, trying to make some money for this baby because we wanted to be able to provide for her. His mother locked the food away in the pantry, literally put a huge lock on it. I didn’t really care considering she has a lot of kids and they eat like savages! but I think everyone knows that when a girl is pregnant she needs to eat! My boyfriend would take me to get food when he would get home from work. anyway, I lost my baby at 7 months she was sick with turners syndrome, cystic hygroma and other things… that was in march of this year. I decided to move in with my dad last month. My dad took me to get the rest of my clothes at the end of august because I couldn’t get them before. I told his mom when I was there that I might have a job by my house, and she told me “well just tell me when you get it so I can take you off the insurance” I was like okay i guess. But I found out from my dentist I didn’t have insurance anymore because I was getting a tooth fixed, and this was after I told her I might have a job maybe like a couple days. I had my dad apply me for insurance and they told me that it was turned off the exact day I told my boyfriends mom I was getting a job… then I thought well what the heck, why? I didn’t care, because I know I didn’t live there anymore but it was kind of fishy. They also told me I was recieving $ 108 of fodd stamps and I never got any food stamps she told me and my boyfriend I didn’t qualify for them!! I was angry because remember I said I was pregnant and my baby was sick and she locked the food away? Yahhh, it really hurt my feelings. Anyway the case worker told my dad that I am lucky I am off there case because here case is really messed up. I told my boyfriend and he called his mom and asked her all kinds of questions and she denied I had food stamps. and then she called my house asking my dad stuff and saying i only got like $ 10 and the way she runs her house is that she buys the food… She told my boyfriend that she called the DES office and they told her that they weren’t investigating it and she also told my boyfriend she wasn’t staling because I lived in her house… but my boyfriend paid rent at his moms house for us but we had to buy our own food. I’m sorry she is greedy! She controls her husbands money he makes at work too. She locks off all computers and everything. She is driving a new excursion and in a brand new house that she got built and he husband is the only one who works. come on now, it’s wierd and makes no sense.
I need to know, what do you people think will happen to her case since they found out she was taking food stamps from me and they said her case is really messed up? she has kids i care about them but she’s a terrible mother, sorry to say. I lost my baby and I would of been a great mom it’s people like her i cant believe treats her kids like crap. My boyfriend can’t really stand her.

Asbestos or Fraud?
If this house had asbestos why did it sit without boards (after there was a sign saying it would be boarded up- and NEVER has been) and why aren’t all the windows covered? I looked inside and there are no covers over the doorways. If they have to ‘wear’ face masks and are leaving it uncovered what about my family and I?
