Think vitamin C -lots of it every day. Start with 4,000 mg. Ester-C and go up from there, see how much you can tolerate each day – your body will let you know if it is too much by giving you diarrhea. Then just cut back. Any antioxidants are excellent as well, so a supplement of any kind with antioxidants would be good. When thinking of juices, and foods, think color – brightly colored fruits and veggies have the most nutrition – berries, cherries, deep green veggies, carrots, etc. Juice them yourself or buy something like the V-8 Fusion drinks available now. Make sure you have a variety every day of fruit, veggies. Cut back on animal fats, and start eating whole grains.

My 10 month old has been diagnosed with a neuroblastoma.
We won’t know how bad it is for a few more days but I was wondering what foods to give her to optimize healing along with her medical treatment.
I am thinking of green juices/powders in particular like spirulina, wheat grass etc along with herbs in her food. Do these or anything else have any effect in your opinion?
Are they safe to give to an infant? She has eaten almost everything and has no known allergies.
What about homeopathic treatment options. Are there any that are safe for an infant less than a year old?
Any foods or homeopathic treatments given will be discussed with her oncologist 1st.

I ate organic food while I was pregnant, breast feed, cloth diaper don’t use dairy, eat minimal animal products, fed her all organic food she hadn’t had any dairy or meat before developing this, I don’t use ANY chemicals, don’t vaccinate don’t use plastic or microwaves or tvs or eat anything with colour or artificial stuff. I even make my kids play with wooden toys for cripes sake. I did everything you are supposed to do to avoid cancer.

This isn’t a answer, really, but your question is full of guilt. You did everything you could to have a healthy baby…but sometimes nature doesn’t program development quite right. But because you ate healthy and did EVERYTHING possible to have a healthy pregnancy, your baby has the best chance of getting well again.
Sounds like you’re doing everything you should do now, too…following your doctor’s treatment as well as looking to do all you can to compliment that treatment. You and your family are in my thoughts…
