lol you do some real research! no you! i’m just here for open minded opinions you didn’t even state why they want it legalized. what is false hope? how do you know till you’ve tried it? has anyone had experience out there? probably not because the likelyhood of someone coming in contact with this oil is not very good. if you were to have to buy a lb from a drug dealer(what choice have you?) to make an ounce(a month supply) it would cost about 4,500$ . there is no government research on this specific treatment. go ahead, spend your money on chemical drugs that have been around for ten years, but maybe, just maybe there is a possibility that one which has been around ten thousand years works better. They don’t make their big money off this one so why legalize it? why even do a study on it when some of the ones they have done are proving them wrong. money is power. are you going to believe everything society tells you? use your brain, love each other, and do your own research

I finally gave in and watched it. It tell me nothing other than these people want mj legalized and are spreading hope that has not been scientifically proven. Again, there is REAL research out there nd you tube is not a reliable source for anything. There is also a synthetic thc that is identical to the thc in real marijuana that has a LOT of studies. Some of them might surprise you. Do some real research or get off this board.

If this is a homework assignment, you’re asking for answers, not for help in finding the answers. You can ask ONE question at a time here.
If for anything related to your own health issues, Yahoo! Answers makes it VERY clear intheir Disclaimer (link at the bottom of ever Y! page) not to rely on answers you receive here.
The answer to #1 is “B” Insulin… I would think it’s not even possible that you didn’t already know that. But in looking over the others, many of them are common knowledge that even you should know the answer to. They’d certainly be easy to look up instead of asking others to do it for you. You’d be amazed at how rewarding it can be when you discover and learn on your own. I have a great appreciation for the tools available to me on the internet… it never gets old.
I bet you could look up the rest and get all those anser faster. If not online, perhaps in a textbook.

i have been exposed to asbestos. how much asbestos is enough to cause health problems?
Question by anonymous: i have been exposed to asbestos. how much asbestos is enough to cause health problems?
i started removing the popcorn ceiling in my garage and about 1/4 of the way through i realized the ceiling could have asbestos in it. i removed the ceiling by scraping it so there was a lot of dust inhaled.
Best answer:
Answer by gokart121
Well, that’s debatable, lawyers make hay while the sun shines out of asbestos claims, but at the end of the day, you’re gonna die of something anyway. A better question would be if you were knowingly exposed to it, or how much of it, for how long, are you suffering from it, or were you just in the same zip code as some asbestos, and trying to ride a health claim? Hmmm….

Why Health Care Reform is Personal to Me

My Fight for Health Care Part 1 Here is why Health Care Reform is personal to me. What was once a powerful bill that could have saved me and many others has been dwindled down to something that will do so very little to help Americans like myself. We are dying, and we need help. Please pass this along to as many people as possible, and read my notes on my Facebook. www.facebook.com I’m also on CNN iReport @ www.ireport.com Amendment: As of this date I am still without health care and facing paralysis and death. Any health care plans I have been offered have either been priced in the thousands per month to pay for the policy, or they would deny any care that may be construed as relating to my pre-existing conditions. I was born with one lung, which means no care for any respiratory infections, including swine flu. I was born with one kidney which means no cover for kidney stones, bladder infections, nothing to do with the renal system. I was born with severe scoliosis, curvature of the spine. This effects my entire spinal chord and all the muscles and vital organs within my body that receives signals from my central nervous system. I can work now, I want to work. I don’t want money to allow me to sit at home and be a victim. All I want it be able to afford to see a doctor, just like every other American not born with birth defects has the right to do so. Please pass this on to as many people as possible.

Should preventable health problems of employees really be the responsibility of the company or business?
Question by katchoo_792: Should preventable health problems of employees really be the responsibility of the company or business?
If people have health problems such as diabetes or other health issues caused by their own actions should the employer really have to pay for them to fix it? I
If for example someone got diabetes because they habitually over eat and refuse to exercise should the consequences of their actions be passed on financially to their employer?
I’m not talking about accidents or problems caused in direct relation to work such as lung problems caused by coal mining.
It seems unfair and presumptuous to assume that the company should pay the insurance for someone else’s negligence.
Won’t the increase demand on employers lead to health discrimination (not hiring someone because they are overweight or smoke)?
Is this happening now?
What do you think?
Best answer:
Answer by Rod B
Yeah, I feel you. I have always believed that people should take responsibility for their own health rather than living un-healthy lifestyles and expecting the health care industry to “fix” them.
Unfortunately, in the current environment, employers and insurance companies cannot discriminate against those with self-destructive lifestyles.

Help me Pick an Environmental Health Project?
Question by jancanyon: Help me Pick an Environmental Health Project?
Hello! I just moved half way across the country to Montana to work at hospital. Part of my job is to come up with an environmental health project that pertains to patients in my area. I have a couple ideas–maybe anyone reading this could tell me their favorite idea…or give me additional topics? First off there are a lot of migrant workers here. Here are my ideas thus far:
1) Pesticide exposure and the related health risks to farm workers
2) Water testing near farmworker housing and the related health risks
3) Underground storage container leaks and the related health risks
I’m putting this under homework help, even though its not really homework.

It is located in the lower part of his lung. All of the doctors have been saying that he has a lung abcess. But this doctor says it is a small chance it could be cancer. Please if anyone out there knows about these things please help me!
The doctor also said that it could be the abcess is filled with puss/or it could have dead cells in it.
I do not want to lose my husband or my child’s dad!
Please be nice if you decide to answer this! Also, please give a sensible answer!
Best answer:
Answer by Elizabeth B
I understand why you are scared, but there are a bunch of things it could be besides cancer. When you breathe i things the lung can’t handle it tends to wall it off and form a mass around it. It can be caused by parasites, asbestos granules etc. So, try to stay calm and hopeful so you can support your husband through this.
Best of luck.

The Bubonic Plague: Black Death
Everyone in this room has probably heard the nursery rhyme ring around the rosy…but you probably didn’t know that this innocent song was a child’s depiction of the black plague.
Ring around the rosy: One of the first signs a person was infected were little red bumps surrounded by rings, all over the persons’ body.
Pocket full of Posy: A common belief of the time was that the plague was spread by “foul air.” The thought was that people could escape from the bad air by keeping their local air smelling “sweet”. That, and it also helped them deal with the smell of the dead. Another sign of infection was the awful smell that would begin to rise from the victim’s body as their lymph system began filling with blood. Those that were infected and still able to walk often escaped detection by carrying flowers, such as posies, in their pockets.
Ashes, Ashes: In the last phases of the disease victims would have internal hemorrhaging, sometimes sneezing as it irritated their lungs. Ashes is a child’s view of a person sneezing, but in this weakened state, a victim could, and often did, sneeze their lungs out.
We all Fall Down: I probably shouldn’t need to explain that one.
The number of cases on a global scale every year is from 1000 to 3000, 14% of which are fatal. Even though the first reports of the plague were in the Ukraine in 1347, there are still 10-20 people diagnosed with it each year in the United States. However, the numbers have been gradually going down year by year due to countries’ getting a better control on their rodent population. Only 14% are fatal because since 1347, we have developed drugs such as tetracycline and streptomycin, which will cure the plague if received within a day of the 1st symptoms.
did i miss anything? can anything be added for more detail? thanks! any additional info would be appreciated!
We all fall down: Around the fifth day of the disease, the victims usually die.
Even though the first reports of the plague were in the Ukraine in 1347, there are still 10-20 people diagnosed with it each year in the United States. But because the disease is spread by the fleas on rats it can be almost anywhere in the world. However, the numbers have been gradually going down year by year due to countries’ getting a better control on their rodent population.
