Only your pharmacist would be qualified to answer this one. I’d bet that it’s a bad idea. If you have high blood pressure, then taking a stimulant won’t be helping out that problem. It may even interact with the blood pressure or lung disease meds you’re taking. Why would you want to take this anyway?

If the person have high-risk forms of HPV ( that cause cervical cancer or genital warts ) Can this rise the risk of other type of cancers? Can you take some type of tests and what kind ,for other types cancer bace on the high- risk forms or HP?

High risk genital HPV types are the genital HPV types that are found in genital cancers. Genital HPV types are found in virtually all cervical cancer. Other genital cancers that are linked to HPV are vaginal, anal, vulva, penile, and oral cancers. These ‘other’ cancers have other links and risk factors.
I am unsure what other cancers you are thinking of. There is no overall HPV test. HPV testing is approved only for the cervix. HPV is not found in the blood.
Most genital high risk HPV types do not progress to any cancers due to the diligent recommendation of our Pap test. Pap tests allow our doctor to see cell changes early, monitor these cell changes, and if these cell changes progress the can recommend a treatment preventing most all cervical cancers. It usually takes years before the virus progress to cancer.

Everything now-a-days causes cancer, but there is a proven association with obesity and cancer. Some types of food has proven to increase your chances of getting cancer for example, bar-b-q, salted meats. just try to eat things that are good for you like fruits and vegetables and stay away from fatty foods.

Hi I am a 19 year old female and I am just wondering do I have an increased risk of getting cancer if I have a family history of it?
Although I have had no immediate family with cancer I have had a number of great aunts and uncles die from the following cancers:
womb cancer
stomach cancer
lung cancer
throat cancer
all of these members of my family who have died from these cancers are all my grandmothers brothers and sisters on my mother’s side.
My grandfather on my fathers side also died from bowel cancer.
I’ve also had two second cousins die within the last few months of throat cancer and liver cancer ( on my mother’s side).
I would like to know so I can be aware of any problems I may encounter in the future and to look out for certain symptoms as I get older. I use to smoke ocasionally but I don’t anymore and I would have a drink every few weeks. I also suffer from PCOS.
Would I have an increased risk of getting cancer throughout my life because of this and because of my family history?

Hi , my mom is under going daily radiation treatments, this is the 3rd week , her throat is dry and very sore and swollen from the side effects of her treatment, she needs High protien as suggested for imune system, but must have foods that she can easily swallow with less discomfort. otherwise ? with 20 more radiation treatments to go, besides the pain trying to eat her imune system will weaken therfore a feeding tube and possible trekeotomy may be needed to sustain her?.
we have the HP milkshakes already. shes sick of them, asking for real food. if possible other than cottage cheese ,eggs I have not clue and she is allergic, can’t eat anything rough or spicy either?. your suggestions please ?

Jello, before it is set, have her drink it, it will coat the throat and stomach. Ensure. And Carnation Instant BF, Broths can have powdered supplements added… I hope this will help, best of luck, and best wishes to your mother….

Hi, i would like to ask if you never ever smoke in your life, will you get lung cancer. I’m getting really worried for my mum. I know she has never smoked, and my family is all non-smokers. However, recently she has been coughing with phlegm for about 1 month plus, her voice is hoarse ( I’m not sure whether it’s because of the coughing ). It freaks me out more when she told me she feels pain on her right side, under the ribs. They are all symptoms of lung cancer. however she refuse to go doctor, no matter how many times i have asked her to go. is it possible that my mum get lung cancer… I hope someone can help me to answer it… well at least, it will help me to convince her to go see doctor

Do you need someone on yahoo answers to tell you “GO SEE A DOCTOR”.
So what if the odds are 1 in a million or 1 in 10 there is a chance there is something seriously wrong so don’t waste time on non-medical experts on here and get to the docs quickly.

meaning, it would cause something like immdiate pain in the upper abdomen/chest. Or lower abdomen, or whereever the tumour happens to be.
Ive been worrying a lot about cancer for the last few years, especially 2 years ago when I performed oral on a girl I later found out have cervical cancer caused by the hpv virus. Shortly after my tonsils swelled up ato the and stayed that way(possibly due to the HPV virus). I have very noticeable veins in th back of my throat, and now 2 years later I have begun having abdominal pains and chest pain and weird symptoms I have never had before. Numerous doctors assured me I didnt have cancer, but they never did any scans to prove there were no cancerous growths. It really bothers me that every doctor I go to refuses to do scans on any area that might be at risk and that I show symptoms of(probably because I am only 23) and they believe a 23 year old couldnt possibly get cancer so early in life. Ive had chest and abdominal pains for 2 months now and have been to E.R and urgent care, they dont think much of my symptoms, but never do any relavent tests according to my concerns. I tell them its my lower intestine, and they test my lungs, I just dont get why they are so reluctant to ease my mind and ensure they are in fact correct with their diagnosis(which they still havnt given me a reason why I have these pains that they cant explain)
Im worried that I had cancer all along and it has no spread to my other organs causing these symptoms. I have no money to pay for the scans myself, and like I said the doctors refuse to do it. Ive seen ENT specialists, primary doctors, er doctors, and they all give me the run around.

I’m sorry you have suffered this anxiety over what what should have been explained. HPV is sooo common. The partner who developed the cancer had it in her lower uterus…the saliva and intestinal enzymes probably killed what you may (probably did not) come in contact with. Your stomach pains and inflamed esophagus are probably stress induced. Try Pepcid over ther counter medicine at the drugstore. Take it as directed and start an exercise program…walking or biking would be great to boost your immune system. Give it some time. 4-6 weeks then check with a regular md if you still feel bad. By regular md, I mean someone you have seen before. Stop shopping for a doc who will try to find something/anything wrong with you until you have tried treating the symptoms. Good luck

I wear 3″+ heels daily and my mom keeps getting on my case about it because she says they’ll ruin my back, knees, feet, etc. I’m wondering what exactly these problems are, how are they caused, can they be fixed, and are they really that common, or is my mom being a paranoid rehab nurse. Mostly I want to know if it’s more like foot binding shrinks your feet or that smoking gives you lung cancer. Are the problems definite or possible
I do wear them an average of 6 hours a day. I hate wearing flat shoes because they stretch my achilles tendon (it’s been shortened from being in a pointed position). I don’t know if that’s a problem. Also, I’ve never fallen in heels. I trip and fall a whole lot more in flip flops.

several options
get a taller ladder
get a roller with an extension
buy or rent a spray gun and spray the entire ceiling
if your doing multiple rooms look into renting some scaffolding
ask some of your friends to help you paint, they paint and you supply them with food and beer, depending on your friends this could cost more than hiring someone

i found him lying on the ground kicking and trying to stand. obviously in pain. had yearly shots day before. thought was either colic or shot reaction. he has a fever between 103.6 & 104. heartbeat is rapid at 60bpm. should be half that.signs of stomach pain. saw vet. on antibiotic & fever/pain med. has copd and is on dexamethasone. vet concerned about lung infection. could it be something else?

Colic? West Nile, EPV. I would get a second opinion. Why antibitoics? Does not sound like an indection like a cold for instance.

I won’t lie, I am a little disappointed that I see a few hairs sprouting back after my radiation treatment. It seemed like one of the only positive aspects of receiving full abdominal and pelvic radiation, permanent hair loss. Seems mine is not permanent? Was yours?
