ATTENTION IGNORANT PEOPLE: More Evidence That Marijuana Prevents Cancer. Did I cure you of your ignorance?
Question by Your Favorite Stoner: ATTENTION IGNORANT PEOPLE: More Evidence That Marijuana Prevents Cancer. Did I cure you of your ignorance?
Or is it still there? You might be in denial but that’s okay it’s normal. Un-brainwashing people is very hard to do but you can do it! I can understand that when you’ve been lied to all your life then you start finding out people don’t turn into drug crazed maniacs because of weed. Or people don’t die from it, and it DOES prevent cancer!
“a new study in the journal Cancer Prevention Research, which found that marijuana smokers have a lower risk of head and neck cancers than people who don’t smoke marijuana. Alas, this important research has been largely ignored by the news media.”

that’s a quote from the article, now I know some people wont take the time to read it and then post a stupid comment saying that marijuana will kill. But at least I tried right?
so did I cure you of ignorance yet?
I’ll also provide a link to the real truth on why it was made illegal in the first place.

If you eliminate ignorance, then is there really a need for consumer protection?
Question by : If you eliminate ignorance, then is there really a need for consumer protection?
If people know that what a person is selling is a piece of junk, is there really a need to ban or regulate that piece of junk? Or would that person go out of business faster if the general masses hate that company for producing a bad quality item.
For example: Who in their right mind would buy something with asbestos in it, if they knew how harmful it really was?
Rowan-My point exactly. The only laws that should remain are ones enforcing companies to tell the truth behind their product. I don’t want to change that.

No. There is no need. The free market will regulate itself.

Marijuana a Gateway Drug? My arse. *blowing reefer smoke in the face of ignorance*
Pot hasn’t led me to hard drugs, nor makes me crave alcohol or cigarettes, which kill countless people. Cannabis is used to cure cancer, kill pain, ease mental anxiety, heal intestinal ailments and help prevent blindness from glaucoma. The biggest gateway to substances has been my own curiosity. I am accountable. People who blame pot on using hard drugs also blame their friends if they become an alcoholic. These are people with a low sense of who are they are and cave in easy to peer pressure in general Legalizing weed for recreational use as well as medical use will not increase drug use in the same way making alcohol illegal in the days of prohibition only made its use increase. People will use what they want to use whether it is legal or not. Doctors who prescribe cannabis for medicinal use have seen cases of paranoia decrease once cannabis use was legalized, therefore removing fear of arrest and snuffing out the stigma of its use. People who do not worry about what others think tend to be less paranoid in general. Ganja used to be prescribed by doctors until the early 1930s. It was well known for its potent ability to kill pain, foster a sense of well being and ease anxiety. The body actually produces cannabinoids and is apart of the endocrine system helping regulate metabolism, create a sense of well being and help balance the fertility system. This is called your endocannabinoid system. There have been no documented cases of death due to marijuana use from the herb …
