Well he sure is rich enough: Kennedy has a history of seeking top medical care available for his family. He pulled daughter Kara out of Johns Hopkins and brought her to a Boston hospital when he was not satisfied with the initial course of treatment she was getting for lung cancer five years ago.
In addition to his congressional health insurance plan, which is often described as one of the most generous in the country, Kennedy’s wealth gives him the means to afford the best possible health care. The senator is known to reach into his own pocket and pay supplemental salary to staffers who otherwise might be tempted to leave his office for better paying jobs.

daughter Kara, once had inoperable lung cancer and has beaten the odds. Does anyone have any info on this, as to her age when stricken and what type of treatment she recieved. Or has this been kept private until now. Tragic that son, daughter and now the father is afflicted. One final point, money does seem to play a role in obtaining the best surgeons and treatment for cancer. Fees I`m sure my health insurance would not pay for.

Lot of things that $ $ $ can get you…for instance, what do you think would have happened to you if you were driving a car and ran off of a bridge, and the passenger in the car with you drowned. And not only that, but you left the scene and did not report the incident to the police? Any regular citizen would still be in jail to this day. Kennedy pled guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and received a 2 month suspended sentence.
I have no pity for him.
