Pathology: Malaria. Extract from the DVD “A Miniature Universe, Matter, Motion & Mind”, by B. Chikly

ChiklyInstitute.com Pathology: Malaria. Small extract from the DVD “A Miniature Universe, Matter, Motion & Mind”, by B. Chikly, MD, DO. This astonishing DVD now allows us now to strengthen our understanding by actually showing us life the way it is in full color and real movement. It shows, with great clarity the workings of living tissue samples in full color and motion. It gives the opportunity to explore “the inner life of life.” You can see movement of mitochondria, the wobbling of red corpuscles, changes inside the nucleus, the making of genetic material, DNA releasing proteins. You can see the cell membranes moving. There’s no dye, no dehydration. When you see it you’ll have a hard time finding words to describe it. It’s such a breakthrough.” Narrated by Alaya Chikly, LMT, and developed in collaboration with Richardson Technologies and Francis HY Green, MD, Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Calgary, Canada, the DVD is divided into six main parts: – The Secret of Life – Plant Kingdom – Animal Kingdom – Human – Pathology – The Microscope. Cell images range from that of a diatom, flower, and tadpole heart to mitochondria, neurons, heart, muscle, blood cell, and pathology such as asbestos, malaria, mycoplasma and cancer. A Miniature Universe: Matter, Motion & Mind offers “a new exploration of the remarkable process of nature that could shift your perception of life,” says project creator Bruno Chikly, MD, DO). A really short film that was part of a university project. ‘Psy-Ops’ begins two days prior to a covert underground operation… The highly classified mission objective follows Agent 12, his prime directive: To recover a ‘sensitive’ meta-material from a top secret compound by any means necessary. Though the execution of the Code 4 – A fail-safe procedure implemented to stop ‘contamination’, the altruistic scientists were blind to Agent 12s Machiavellian plot: infiltrate, steal and destroy! – Double agents are identifiable due to the strange ‘symbol’ on the back of their laboratory coats. NB Story was never quite ‘coherently’ completed; a vast portion of footage that was taken mysteriously vanished ie I was forced to cobble together a story to follow the footage, including that incredibly “dodgy” script (where dodgy could be replaced with an expletive) ergo I know it’s mediocre at best. Don’t let that deter you from sending spiteful comments like: “What a steaming pile of crusty underpants” or “My demented unborn foetus could do better” Was filmed at Freshford Mill, late spring 2006 – Maybe I should post some of the outtakes at some point…oh an some of it was filmed in Adams garage whilst his parents were on holiday, so thanks to Adam for that last minute support that allowed me to fill in some gaps. Freshford Mill has since been reduced to a pile of rubble…a real shame considering the awesome graffiti contained within…alright, asbestos was a concerning issue…but …

Seattle Doctor Paints Miniature Pumpkin Using da Vinci Robot
Kristen Austin, OB/GYN (obstetrics and gynecology) physician in Issaquah, Wash. paints a Jack-O-Lantern on a miniature pumpkin using the da Vinci robot to demonstrate how this device gives surgeons greater surgical precision and dexterity over existing approaches. Robot-assisted surgery can offer patients significant benefits over traditional approaches, including less post-operative pain, shorter hospital stay, less blood loss, faster recovery time and quicker return to normal daily activities. In November 2011, Swedish opens the first full-service hospital to be built in King County, Wash. In nearly 40 years. The hospital will offer da Vinci robot-assisted surgical services at the campus. This is one of six robots within Swedish’s health care system. Swedish is a leader in robot-assisted surgical procedures. Its program has a longstanding, successful track record of performing more prostate, kidney and gynecologic surgeries than any other medical center in the Pacific Northwest region of the US Swedish uses the da Vinci Surgical System to perform minimally invasive urological, gynecological and thoracic surgeries for diseases such as prostate cancer, kidney cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and lung cancer, and to assist in complex gynecologic reconstruction surgeries.
