If I have breast concerns and have done so for a year but my Doctor won’t refer me to the breast clinic can I pay to have a biopsy/mammogram privately – do I have that option? or can the Doctor refuse to refer me for a private biopsy/mammogram/specialist?
PLEASE HELP xx

You can walk into any breast clinic in the country and request a mammogram without a doctor if you are old enough and have the money.
Chances are there is no concern if you have been to your doctor and he or she has not ordered any tests.
I am referring to the US I know next to nothing about the UK healthcare system.

Why hire lawyers and paralegals and secretaries? When the litigation is outsourced? For instance, the big insurance companies have legal departments with lawyers, paralegals, and legal secretaries…but also local attorney networks across the country.

Companies have legal departments to be the HQ of their legal needs. However, if they have a specific problem, such as a lawsuit, in one of the 50 states it is not practical for an in house lawyer who is from another state to handle that lawsuit. Instead they look for legal talent in that state. It is the only smart thing to do.
