Well it has been almost a month and the symptoms have not changed. I have been to the hospital many times in addition its for the same diagnoses bronchitis.
Here are the symptoms:
Small fever barely noticeable
Coughing up white fleme with some blood at times (Cant be from coughing I usually try not to cough to ruff so I dont get another infection)
The blood is sometimes a lot in the morning, im guessing since im laying down and its not probably going down to my stomach
So what the hell could it be? I am usually good at researching these things but I just cant figure it out.
I always get bronchitis no matter what or some type of respitory infection….My only guess could it be my contacts harboring bacteria?
Well let me know what you think, I am scared it could be something like Lung Cancer….
Well anyway they took sooo many blood samples and they found nothing unusual.
The only thing unusual was my oxygen levels where low at 94 percent instead of 100 or more.

Well if you have a fever then you must have an infection. This would fit in with bronchitis (but not with lung cancer!).
As to why you keep getting chest infections, I don’t know. I doubt you can blame your friends for infecting you, unless they’re also in and out of hospital with infections. COPD can present with repeated infections, but they’d probably have noticed it by now.
If I were you, I’d go to my doctor and ask them. They’re the experts, so can give you the most reliable advice.

I can’t remember anything about my childhood apart from meeting Max in the Children’s home at the age of six when I first arrived, he was just eight then and I can still remember his welcoming smiling face to this day. But before the age of six and before Max, I can’t remember a single thing, not even my mothers face who had put me there, I wouldn’t even recognise her if she passed me in the street, not her smell, not her voice and not even her face. Her reasons for putting me there? I don’t know and I never will, of course the curiosity killed me at times, but I wasn’t interested now, clearly because I got the best boyfriend and friend I could ask for out of the experience, and that was something far more special than a woman who wasn’t willing to struggle a little to bring up her own child.
But with Max, it was a completely different picture, it wasn’t his parents fault he was there and Max knew that, but he still prayed every night for the return of his ill cancer fighting father who raised him. Of course at the age we was, neither of us quite understood, but we understood enough to know that when people said Max’s father would be fine, it would be a lie. Growing older and becoming a little more educated, we learnt that lung cancer was an illness that had you fighting for your life. Max’s father, Mr O’Neill, visited as often as he possibly could to see his son and I could never forget how excited Max used to get when he knew his father was visiting. When he used to come down to pick him up I noticed that sometimes he looked content and averagely happy and other times he looked washed out and gray. Sometimes I even used to go with the two of them, they did invite me mostly every time but sometimes I felt like I was rudely interrupting the whole father-son thing, they needed the most time they could get together. Max’s father never wanted to stay in the home either to spend time with Max, even though it was very nice and so were the carers, but I understood, he obviously didn’t like to be reminded that he had to give up his son full time. Mr O’Neill really grew on me, he even became one of my favourite people, even with his illness and loneliness he managed to smile and even laugh, which for anyone else would have been impossible. That’s why I grew to really respect the man and why I was so devastated when the bad news arrived.
Most people would feel quite mutual if they received the will from a wealthy man, because of the unfortunate emotions of a huge loss in their life, but not Max, he didn’t want anything to do with it, he was completely mortified about his father. But later on he decided it would be sensible to save everything including Mr O’Neill’s house until his education had finished and was at the right age to take responsibility of so much money. Plus, it’s what his dad would of wanted.
This is just a draft kind of thing by the way, I haven’t looked into it with much detail yet

i used to smoke ones from Spain that were much much better, also about three times as expensive as the normal ones are now.
EDIT: Clifton, where else could he ask this question? The Cancer section? What kind of answers do you think he would get there? “Oh smoking is evil and it was invented by Satan…” that’s what I see coming out of the hell hole known on Y!A as the cancer section!

Every mourning I have a terrible cough. I hack for at least an hour, almost unable to breath. It feels like someone is stabbing a knife through my lungs. I cough so hard my throat burns. And the cough itself sounds terrible. Sometimes I’m wheezing. I struggle to get air in.
I myself do not smoke. But my mother and her boyfriend smoke constantly. There times when I’m with them and the smoke two packs, one for each. I’m around them allot. I’ve tried to get them to not smoke around me because it screws with my allergies. And now I’ve developed what I think is smokers cough.
Could someone tell me if it actually is and if it isn’t, what it is. And how to get rid of it. I really tired of being short of breath in the mourning’s after an hour or so of coughing. Because I have band, and my breathing is something terrible after those fits.
Your help is much appreciated, and thanks to all who answer in advance.
Thank you EWL. I have to get an x-ray on my shoulder in the next few weeks anyways, so I’ll go ahead and tell them to take one of my chest as well.
Nick if you read the whole thing you would know that I am not the one smoking.
I know what second hand smoke is. (: I’ve been around it my whole life.
Half the time I can’t get away from them because when we spend our ‘family time’, I’m trapped in a moving car long enough for them to finish off 2 packs and then some.

Sounds like you have bouts of emphysema and because you cannot breath at times, you could cause harm to your body, particularly your heart from all of the coughing. Coughing hard causes your heart to work harder. Keep away from the smokers, I can not believe that they would continue to smoke around you after listening to you cough up your guts! Go see a doctor asa you can and have a chest x-ray done to see the condition of your lungs.

The CDC had been working on a report about the Great Lakes and had known there were “hot spots” affecting major population areas (Milwaukee, Chicago) with near-toxic water that is dramatically increasing levels of cancer, birth defects, etc. and they sat on the info. Just recently has the press found out and made mention of it but after a day the topic died.
GARDASIL, the HPV vaccine that recently came into the market and is now being pushed by some school districts in various states has been showed to actually increase the liklihood of the strains it does not protect against. In fact, a lawsuit has been in place for at least a year and they state “Of the 1,637 adverse reactions to Gardasil reported to the FDA since the drug was on the market, there were 371 serious reactions. Of the 42 women who received the vaccine while pregnant, 18 experienced side effects ranging from spontaneous abortion to fetal abnormalities.”
Aspartame, the sweetener used in diet sodas and tons of other products, is toxic! It’s been proven to cause serious health and mental health problems and is banned in one state already with Arizona currently trying to ban it. Yet when you buy a diet Pepsi or Coke… there it is!
Remember the big “Bird Flu” scare and how talk was we would all need to take a vaccine to keep us safe? Several KEY POLITICIANS, including the Sec. of Defense and Sec of Health were key players in the company that was selling the vaccine!

People who don’t smoke marijuana know how harmful and addictive it is. It causes lung cancer and brain damage, and it is so addictive that it is impossible to quit. Therefore, they are so disgusted by others who do it that they think it should remain illegal and anyone who smokes it should be thrown in jail.
Every single person who believes marijuana should be legalized is a user of it.

I did a chest x-ray a few weeks back, because I was having chest pains. Well that turned out be costochondritis. But the doc (he has 3.5 years experience) told me that my lungs look like a smoker’s and I should quit which is fine. However he saw no reason to be concerned. I’m assuming that if he saw issues on the chest x-ray (lung spots or anything similar) he would have schedule further tests or at least said something else, but he didn’t. The doc btw is my brother in law. I had him look at it again a week ago (for another reason) and he still didn’t say anything. So do you guys think there are no signs (besides the fact that my lung look ‘old’), or should i carry the x-ray to a neutral doctor?

You do not have to worry. If your doctor saw soemthing that you should be concerned about, he would have told you. However, telling you to quit smoking means you are probably at risk of something serious if you don’t quit, so I’d listen to the doctors orders

I have been suffering from lung infection and poor digestion ever since I was born.. I have been seeing Chinese Medicine Doctors, and herbalists, and they have helped me greatly along the way with my symptoms. Yesterday, I read an article about a disease called Cystic Fibrosis, that sounded like what I have been dealing with all my life. But it sounded like this is a fatal diseases and mine is not that bad.(maybe due to herbs that i take and also Panciatic enzymes)… I was wondering, is there any other diseases similar to Cystic Fibrosis, where a person has a tough time digesting Fats, Starches, and …. and has constant thick mucus build up and ..????
I know I don’t have Celiac disease because I got tested for that one already.

I know, I know, lying is NOT the way to go and I’m totally ashamed of doing this, but I really have no choice and it’s only a short-term lie.
My friend has been sending me money to save for him to move to where I live. He was planning to move at the end of November. I used the money to pay for an alternative cancer treatment (nobody knows I’m sick and I plan to keep it that way – I have my reasons) thinking I had plenty of time to replace it. Then yesterday he called to tell me he had arranged to rent an apartment and move next Friday. He told the rental office I would be by yesterday with the first month’s rent and the deposit. What do I do???!!! I told him that yesterday I got caught late at a dr. appt. with my daughter (which really is the truth, but had I had the money, I could have hurried and made it before they closed).
I am sure I will have the money by Monday. But I need a good lie for today – in an hour. Help! It has to be believable and not too detailed…Thanks

Not too long ago there was a news story about a man in Tampa that developed lung cancer after years of smoking.
His lawsuit was for $ 10 million, but was only awarded $ 260,000.
Since the 1930′s, doctors and pathologists have published information about the ill effects of smoking.
And in the early 1970′s, television and radio broadcasts were no longer allowed to air smoking ads.
So when does it become a personal responsibility versus a company’s fault for ones habit?

That is a question best left up to the individual who has the non small cell ca. The physician will give the patient the best advice. Some will choose not to attempt further treatment and others will. The prognosis is not really that great but the important thing is to remain positive. a non small cell ca that has metastasized to the brain is a very aggressive carcinoma. Best ask your doctor for advice. Also, check into Hospice program.
