I have just decided that I will be participating in the Trek Across Maine this year, which is a 3 day, 180 mile bike trek across the state to raise money and awareness for lung cancer. I’m definitely a beginner biker, and i’m wondering what would be recommended for a training plan for me. I eat quite healthy, but I’m pretty out of shape. The trek is in mid-June, so i have to get going!!! Thank You!!!!

well like u said u eat healthy, so stick with it. I would start by first working on strength and endurance training. U could try taking runs and doing push -ups etc. then start building up haow far u can bike for example: 1st week id 1 mi, and the 2nd is 1.5 and so on. Oh, and make sure u stretch so u dont ppull a muscle. Good luck

The qualification meets the specification detailed within the UKCG (formerly MCG) “Supervisor Training Standard” which is a requirement for all supervisors employed on UKCG members’ sites.This two day course provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities in relation to their work activities. The importance of promoting health and safety at work in order to oversee sites effectively will be impressed upon candidates.
