I bought this soviet gas mask, and it came with a filter (obviously) but i was wondering if using the gas mask (as a novelty item, not in any hazardous environment) could cause any sort of lung cancer or disease over extended use.

Depends on how old it is. If the filter is really old, it should be inert by now. Honestly, I’d just wash it out good, maybe even remove all the components from the filter and just have the steel or plastic shell.

Particularly as thermal inulation in the walls of campers and RVs. There is an old Tejas brand truck camper sitting on some rural property I just purchased and I’d like to cut it up with a sawzall so I can dispose of it in a construction dumpster but I’m worried that the walls might containt asbestos.

Generally you didn’t see asbestos as insulation in cheap stuff like a camper. And mostly it’s harmless anyway. There’s two kinds of asbestos – the most common form is “serpentine” – and the dangerous stuff which makes up a fairly small amount of asbestos in some projects is called “amphibole”. Nobody in the government apparently knew this when they made the big hysterical asbestos laws.
Your chances of running into any sort of asbestos in insulation is pretty small except where it contaminates vermiculite – and then it has to be just the right kind. Wear a mask – wash your cloths when you’re done – and you’ll come through smelling like a rose.

So, Ive answerd a couple questions regarding weed not being a sin and its legality and whatnot and I just want to know Is my reasoning about weed decent if not 100% correct or is this all nonsense like my mother told me.

In regards to the law in the bible it says: Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. – Matthew 22:21
Marijuana is one of God’s things, so render that unto God, not Caesar.
To the people who say SMOKING weed is a sin beacause it harms Gods temple, that is arguable because smoking anything, not just weed, has harmful effects, such as lung cancer and such. But smoking weed will never lead anyone to any type of caner or disease. So while smoking it can harm your body, it really doesn’t do too much damage. Why? because God created us and He loves us. But just because smoking weed is the most common use of the plant doesnt mean that other uses are terrible. Like eating it. Marijuana is a herb, and like every other herb it can be eatin with no harmful effects. By eating marijuana you get that “high” (way more high!!) and you do not harm your body, because no smoke enters your lungs, depleting any chance of harming God’s temple. And, on judgment day do you think that the use of God’s plant, whether legal or illegal, is going to send you to hell???
back when weed was legal (less than 100 years ago) do you think anybody who used or knew of the plant EVER in a million years thought that it was a sin. No, cuz thats just silly. Weed got its sinful reputation through the same process that the Jews received hatred from. Government Propaganda (and it was around the same time to, the 1930′s – 40′s) are Jewish people terrible because the Nazi Germany said so. NO. Sp is weed terrible because our govt. says so. If you were that religious, and concerned about whether God accepts it you would not want a high from an illegal drug. It is a way of escaping from troubles in life and that is cowardice. The aim of chirstians is to strive to be like Jesus and not to accept that humans are not perfcet and never will be so therefore it’s ok to do things you KNOW ARE WRONG! maijuana makes you act in a way you would not when sober just like any illegal drug, therfore you are not in control of your actions, and have no moral guidelines, which not only would make you a bad christian but a bad human being. Don’t escape from being the true, insightful person God made you to be, but thrive in who you are naturally and try to abstain from things that make you feel high, or similar. Jesus excersised this to the extent of going weithout food or water for 40 days resisting Temptation.
Don’t support the black market of the drug trade as the more young people will get invilved and destrot their lives.

Seed radiation is very common in most major cancer clinics in the US. If you want to look into this type of treatment just ask your oncologist. Your oncologist should be able to recommend the closest clinic in your area for this treatment. Maybe make an appointment with a radiotherapy specialist.

My mom has been smoking since she was in her late teens and she has asthma. I am afraid she will develop lung cancer or worse… I want my mom to be around for a long time because I love her and care about her and I know that she is a very special person. I do not know when my dad started chewing smokeless tobacco, but this type of tabacco can cause mouth cancer and my dad could lose his entire jaw if he continues… I want my dad to be around for a long time because I know if he were to get into an accident, I don’t think I would be ready to become the man of the house. plus, My dad makes most of the money in our family and we couldn’t live in our home without that money… I also look up to my dad and I think he makes good decisions for our family. He is a nice dad and is nice to have around. Even though we have a home security, I feel safer at night when he’s home. I just want them both to live long, happy and healthy lives- drug free. My mom can’t take pills to stop smoking because they give her a stomach ache and idk if there are anything to make my dad quit smokeless tabacco. I need some words of advise or what to say to them to get them to quit. PLEASE HELP!!! Your answers may be my only hope!!!
