A beta version of music video tribute I made to the masterpiece show Breaking Bad. It’s going to be re-edited and completed after the airing of the final season of Breaking Bad in 2012 and 2013. The theme song is by Ennio Morricone (Bandini Remix), from the soundtrack “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. Video was featured on twitter accounts of Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Rian Johnson and Alan Sepinwall. Patti McWalk 2010 to benefit the SJ Cancer Fund – Video by Lew Steiner
The 9th Annual Patti McWalk started off at Lucy the Elephant in Margate with hosts Joe Ricci of Kool 98.3 and Michael James of WZXL Radio. Bob McDonnell, Patti’s brother thanked everyone for being there to remember Patti. The South Jersey Cancer Fund’s representative said that the Patti McWalk is one of their top fundraising events each year. After Jim Craine sang the Star Spangled Banner, everyone hit the Margate Beach for a walk to the Margate Fishing Pier. Next stop was Maynard’s Cafe for food and a silent auction hosted by Steve Troiano and Buddy McCabe. “Walking” by Syd Kitchen Syd Kitchen was a South African musician, songwriter, poet, philosopher, teacher and mentor to many people. He was scheduled to tour with a newly finished documentary “Fool in a Bubble” about his life, but tragically, Syd passed away unexpectedly in March 2011 after being diagnosed with lung cancer. As a tribute to Syd Kitchen and with kind permission from the Syd Kitchen estate, I have made this music video of Syd Kitchen’s song “Walking” featuring photos I took of Syd during his 2007 USA tour and other photos I took in South Africa and Los Angeles, accompanied by Syd Kitchen’s recording of his song “Walking” – music and lyrics by Syd Kitchen; guitar and vocals by Syd Kitchen, accordion by Greg Liesegang, photos and video by Nicolette Aubourg. Autumn Lindsay’s Celebration Video
This is the Video that was played at the Celebration of Autumn’s life. Autumn chose The Dance by Garth Brooks and The Best Advice by NickleBack and another one that was added and fit well was Michael Buble’s I wanna go Home. Autumn passed away 18 months after she was first diagnosed with Lung Cancer. She went through radiation treatments and chemotherapy but the cancer continued to spread through her body. She always wanted to be surrounded by friends and family who gave her the support she needed. Autumn volunteered for many organizations such as Ride for Dad which was for raising money for Prostate Cancer research, The Bachelors for Hope Auction for Breast Cancer research, Motors and Muscles for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center and for Shelter House. Autumn never thought that she would be one of the people battling cancer herself. Right till the end Autumn tried her best to remain independent and stay at home in the condo she loved and decorated with meticulous care. When Autumn needed to have support in her final days she was well taken care of at the St. Joseph’s Hospice. She had many visitors from family to old friends and she passed away quietly surrounded by her loving family. August 9th, 2008- Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper “Ocean’s Eleven” and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show,” died Saturday at age 50. “Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles. She said no other details were available and asked that his family’s privacy be respected. The comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, but had said the condition went into remission in 2005. He recently was hospitalized and treated for pneumonia, which his publicist said was not related to the disease. Recently, Mac’s brand of comedy caught him flack when he was heckled during a surprise appearance at a July fundraiser for Democratic presidential candidate and fellow Chicagoan Barack Obama. Toward the end of a 10-minute standup routine, Mac joked about menopause, sexual infidelity and promiscuity, and used occasional crude language. The performance earned him a rebuke from Obama’s campaign. But despite controversy or difficulties, in his words, Mac was always a performer. “Wherever I am, I have to play,” he said in 2002. “I have to put on a good show.” Mac worked his way to Hollywood success from an impoverished upbringing on Chicago’s South Side. Any determination of a drug’s valid medical use must be based on the best available science undertaken by medical professionals. The Institute of Medicine conducted a comprehensive study in 1999 to assess the potential health benefits of marijuana and its constituent cannabinoids. The study concluded that smoking marijuana is not recommended for the treatment of any disease condition. In addition, there are more effective medications currently available. For those reasons, the Institute of Medicine concluded that there is little future in smoked marijuana as a medically approved medication.
